Profile: Ciaran Duignan studied photography in 2003. After completing collage in Dublin his photography career began with working along side musicians. After working for a newspaper in 2007/08 he moved to Mayo and set up Abaca Photography. Abaca Photography covers Mayo and surrounding counties such as Galway and Sligo. Wedding Photography with a difference, creative portraits, Documenting events, commercial and music photography are the areas covered by Abaca Photography. Ciaran Duignan is also well known for his contemporary landscape fine art photography. He has a large selection of images from all over Ireland. One of the reasons for moving to Mayo was the rugged landscapes and coastal areas around Mayo and Galway. His work can be seen exhibiting at various locations around Ireland.
